Dionysus had the most difficult life of all the Gods. From birth he was chased by Hera because he was an illegitimate child of her husband Zeus. She finally succeeded to kill him and he was brought back to life by other Gods who felt sorry for him. Upon growing up in hiding, he invented wine and lived wild in the forests, drunk everyday. Soon he had a following of people because he taught a method of finding and understanding yourself through letting yourself go crazy. After many years of improving the lives of people all over the world, and even sharing Apollo’s temple to help people know themselves on an animal level, Zeus made him a full God and he was appointed to be the last and 12th God of Olympus.
