How old are your muscles?

This may seem a funny question since they should be as old as you are, but I am not talking about chronological age here, I am talking about functional age. Your muscles should be strong yet flexible and when squeezed should feel pliable and you should feel good not sore.

 

您的肌肉年齡有多大了?

You can test the age of your muscles right now. Simply press down on the muscles in your shoulder that go up into the back of your neck with about the pressure it takes to lift up an apple. If they are tight and sore, they are in bad shape, probably over 70 years old.

您現在可以測試您肌肉的年齡.你試著壓肩膀的肌肉,用可以拿起一顆蘋果的力量往下壓,如果肌肉堅硬又酸痛的話,那肌肉正處於不佳的狀態,肌肉的年齡可能已經超過70歲了.

 

If you don't feel pain, press down harder about the weight of a 1 liter bottle of water. If they feel sore, it means they are in their 50 - 60's.

如果您不覺得痛,再試著用可以拿起一瓶水的力量往下壓.如果這時候覺得痛,那麼表示您已有50 - 60歲的肌肉年齡了.

 

If you don't feel pain, press down even harder like the pressure of lifting 2 bottles of wine. If you feel pain, it means your muscles are in their 40 - 50's.

如果年不覺得痛,可以再往下壓,用可以拿起兩瓶酒的力量,如果這時覺得痛,表示您有40 - 50歲的肌肉年齡.

 

If you don't feel pain, press down with the pressure of lifting a chair. If you feel pain, it means they are in their 30 -  40's.

如果您還不覺得痛,你可以用拿起一張椅子的力量往下壓,如果您覺得痛那表示您有30 - 40歲的肌肉年齡.

 

If you don't feel pain, press down with the pressure of lifting a 20KG suitcase. If you feel pain, it means they are in the 20 - 30's.

如果您還不覺得痛,你用可以拿起20公斤的力量,往下壓如果您覺得痛那表示肌肉年齡正處於20 - 30歲.

I have been in Chiropractic practice since 1988 and have learned many techniques to help in muscle and joint pain. While working with the Olympic athletes in Greece I was shocked to find how limited these techniques were including classic Chiropractic methods like joint manipulation. The only thing that could stop the pains of athletes was deep muscle work, known by some as soft tissue manipulation, fascia therapy, and other names.

The only problem was the athletes muscles were so big and tight, that it was physically impossible to help even though using my full body weight of 110KG. I had to come up with a solution and after some experimentation developed new tools that could put up to 400KG of power on to muscles. That is when I started getting amazing results. Within 6 months, my athletes had achieved huge boosts in their careers with 12 new personal, national, and European records in Track and Field.

As I used this method, I started gaining an understanding about muscles that I had never known before. I found that my application of high force on muscles not only stopped muscle and joint pain, it made permanent changes to the general health of the muscles. It made them stronger, restored total flexibility,  and even changed the metabolism of patients so that they lost weight. This technique was actually changing the age of muscles, bring them back to the health of childhood!
